just wanna affirm that the pins have nice colored abalone in every pin, and the pin heas are larger than your usual off the market stuff, given a more dramatic look to the bridge. they sure look great! the black horn pins sure go weill with the ebony bridge if you're looking for a 'uniform' look.
personally i prefer the horn pins in one of my smaller bodied guitars and bone in the larger one..to my ears they have slightly more clarity than bone. yet bone seems to have a tad more sustain as compared to horn. again it could boil down to your own listening preference and perhaps certain guitars work well with certain pins.
i've known shao for a long time and can attest that he's easy going and reliable to deal with, not to mention these quality products! |

haha don't tekan him.. let him study!
On a personal level, i love the Bone pins on most guitars.. they seem to cause the guitar to "growl" and with that very nice sustain and that ringing "jang-y" tone when strumming.. crunchy!
Aesthetic wise, it's really personal preference, but i think either horn pins or the bone pins will still look lovelier than the stock plastic ones. _________________ Read your Bible! www.biblegateway.com

Current stocks of all Horn pins are SOLD OUT
New stocks will come in 3-4 weeks time, so if you wish, do drop me an email to do a quick reservation first. These pins go pretty fast...and if you've read the reviews and heard some of the recordings, these pins do make that wonderful difference to the tone of your guitar, and it's easy to install.
Some BONE pins still available, but not many left. Those that installed them commented frequently that it caused an increase in clarity and sustain that really made a difference! You can read the reviews, and let your ears tell the difference. Future shipment of Bone pins will come together with the Horn pins.. so drop me an email for a quick reservation for the current stocks to avoid the wait.
Thanks for the support, and to some of you, the friendly chats and friendship! Honestly, i enjoyed that most of all. Thanks.
Joy to you,
Shao
